Music sensations Eliza Doolittle & Bluey Robinson perform at ‘Music Industry Open’

23 July 2010 – Urban Golf celebrated the recent launch of their new west London venue last night with an exclusive music industry event in Kensington.

Guests at the event included singing sensation Eliza Doolittle, 22, who performed an acoustic set of her chart topping singles “Pack Up” and “Skinny Genes”. Eliza, who is currently number 3 in the album charts and number 8 on the singles chart played to a host of key music industry figure heads and selected media at the event. Other guests included golfer and Mission Impossible II star Dougray Scott, new boy band Kixx, as well as singer Frances Ruffelle and TV presenter Lizzie Cundy.

The evening’s entertainment also included 21-year-old Bluey Robinson, who performed unheard tracks from his forthcoming debut album as well as a cover of Kings of Leon’s “Use Someboy”. Bluey, who most recently played at Wireless Festival also performed a storming set at the '1Xtra after Party' following Dizzee Rascal's performance at the BBC Electric Proms in October in Camden's Roundhouse.

DJs Chocolate Doll finished off the music event with an eclectic mix of pop, funky house and current chart-topping hits. Already established on the UK music scene, they have preformed for some of the worlds biggest names such as Diddy, The Beckhams, Prince, 50 Cent, Axel Rose, Ne-yo and Mickey Rourke to name a few.

The state of the art Kensington venue has joined the Soho branch, which was started in 2004 followed by Smithfield in 2006 and as the third in the already hugely successful chain of indoor golf centres.
