Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief catwalk show held at London Fashion Week 2007 brought together runway excitement and glamour to raise money for the Rotary Flood Disaster Appeal. Held in the British Fashion Council tent at the Natural History Museum on the evening of September 20th, so far the total raised is just under £250,000 and is constantly rising.
This, the second Fashion For Relief event brought together industry giants featuring clothing by the world's most renowned and respected houses including Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Armani, Hugo Boss, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Pepe Jeans and Y-3, with their fashions strutted down the runway by the likes of legendary models and celebrities including Elle Macpherson, Daphne Guinness, David Furnish, Rio Ferdinand, Katherine Jenkins, Duchess Of York, Princess Beatrice, Christian Slater, Prince Azim and Tyson Beckford to name a few.
All money raised will go to the Rotary Flood Disaster Appeal and 100% of the funds raised will be used directly to assist communities in the affected flood districts. It was recently reported in the news that estimated flood damage in the UK is 3 billion pounds.
