Pop sensations Mel B and Jay Sean take on tennis stars for celebrity showdown

London, UK – March 12, 2010 – Sony Ericsson announces today that Spice Girl and TV personality Mel B and Cash Money/Universal Republic recording artist; Jay Sean will be pairing up with male world no. 2; Novak Djokovic and renowned tennis star; Ana Ivanovic respectively, in an exclusive exhibition tennis match to celebrate the opening of the 2010 Sony Ericsson Open in Miami, called ‘Glam.Set.Match’.
Taking place in front of a crowd at the home of the Sony Ericsson Open; Crandon Park stadium; the two teams will battle it out to win the ‘Glam.Set.Match’ title.
Mel B commented; “I’m so pleased to be playing with Novak Djokovic! We’ve got a super high chance of winning because even though I might not be technically that good, my drive will help get us there!”
Jay Sean said, “I don’t think you can do better than Maria Sharapova - to be honest, I think I’m going to let her do the majority of the work and I’ll just watch from the back! This is such a different vibe from what I normally do, its going to be great fun!”
