Welsh operatic star Katherine Jenkins, today announces, her Winter 2008 UK Tour. Jenkins, who is currently on the stage with Darcey Bussell in the sell out Viva La Diva show, will play a fourteen date tour starting December 1st at Sheffield’s City Hall, ending in her native Wales at the Cardiff Arena on 22nd December.

Katherine, who releases her sixth album, a collection of sacred arias, in November 2008 on UCJ Music said “although I’ve loved being in Viva La Diva, its meant that I haven’t actually done a concert tour for two years. I am so excited to be going back out on the road with an orchestra and to be premiering some songs from the new album.”

Special guests supporting Katherine on tour will be four piece Blake, who yesterday won the NS&I Album Of The Year Award at the Classic Brits.
